Wonderful Georgian C.1828 black enamel ‘in memory of’ mourning ring. The inscription reads ‘Capt’n (Captain) Chas Cotton RN (Royal Navy) ob 11 Feb 1828 at 25’. This ring was created to mourn the loss of Provenance Admiral, Sir Charles Cotton, 5th Baronet of Mae Dingly by Derby.
